Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe we are only a few days away from the end of this unprecedented year. Like most of the world, we in Learn For Life Kenya are looking forward to a brighter new year and are feeling hopeful about our future.

We would like to thank you for your support and encouragement throughout the year as we continued to fulfill our mission of helping young people in Kenya obtain the vocational skills training they need to find jobs or start their own businesses.

During the pandemic we were able to work with our partners to fund the safe completion of Phase 8 of the 29,000 square foot building, which involved plastering the entire building and completing key mechanical and electrical work.

=

In September, we launched Phase 9 of the construction, which is estimated to cost $120K. This phase entails installing windowpanes, applying floor finishes, painting, putting sanitary fixtures in the washrooms, installing firefighting systems, wiring main electrical panels and fixtures, and completing external drainage systems.

=

To begin this phase, we are seeking to raise an initial $60K—of which we have already raised $23K. We invite you to join in and help support this final campaign of 2020.

=

Your donation will go a long way toward providing a more hopeful future for the youth of Kenya, particularly when so many have been dealing with the negative effects of COVID-19.

=

Wishing you a safe, healthy, and blessed 2021.
