Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the death of the Very Rev. Bernard Muindi, the founder of the Tumaini Children’s Ministry and the inspiration for Learn For Life Kenya. Rev. Muindi touched many lives and is sorely missed by all who knew him. Let his spirit continue to give us the strength to navigate the challenging times we are living in, especially in showing compassion to those impacted by COVID-19 and social injustice across the world.
We thank him for leaving us with the scripture below as a reminder that when we bring our best selves to every situation, we will experience a peace that passes all understanding.
“Finally beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the peace of God will be with you.” (Philippians 4:8-9 NRSV)
Learn For Life Kenya is committed to combining goodwill with contextually relevant solutions, strengthened by sound economics and grounded in the recognition that all humanity has dignity.
