November 2019 Newsletter: You Make Us Grateful!
On behalf of Learn For Life Kenya, we want to take a moment to tell you how thankful we are to have friends like you.
Learn For Life Kenya has realized enormous success since 2015, largely due to such a supportive community of friends. Whether you have joined us in this journey by giving financially, opening your home to host an event, inviting us to speak in your school, church, or place of work, joining us in prayer, following us on social media, promoting our Giving Tuesday campaign, donating tangibles or time, or offering expert advice to our Board, together we have made a significant impact.
Working together, we have sent almost $200,000 for the construction of the Vocational Training Center since 2015. Additionally, we’ve launched two micro-enterprises, a poultry farm and a bakery, established an alumni association for Kenyan young adults to develop leadership skills, initiated two training programs, hairdressing and agribusiness, and expanded a computer lab. Currently, we are engaging local leaders to develop and facilitate a Life Skills Development course for youth residing in orphanages. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
We wish you and your family nothing but the best this Thanksgiving and throughout the holiday season.
With deepest appreciation,
Learn For Life Kenya Board of Directors

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving when millions of people around the world will contribute to their favorite charitable causes.
Campaign Focus: Plumbing and Water Self-Sufficiency
Our Giving Tuesday Campaign 2019 will raise funds for plumbing the Vocational Training Center. This project will coincide with the installation of two large capacity water tanks (54,200 liters, or 451 tons) at the VTC.
